I am about to book a holiday to asia and I am just wondering if anyone has any experiance with either asiarooms or agoda.

I am just wondering if they are trust worthy. Last thing I want is to loose my hard earned money.

I'm in Thailand now, used these guys for about 15 different hotels over the last couple of years, absolutely fantastic.

You get pretty accurate hotel ratings, I usually only look at ones over 8, we rode all around Koh Samui yesterday & I think we got close to the best for the price but quite often it's best to only book for a day or two then have a look around yourself for better prices at different places, cash talks & you can quite often play them off against each other, especially if you are on a budget as not every hotel is listed on these sites.

Both are fine... Agoda charges you a booking fee per night.

I wouldnt use them tho :P

Last time I flew to Thailand I thought I'd give Flight Center a chance to beat the internet prices as they guarantee they can.

They put me onto a p/t girl in the Mt Hawthorn office and she was quoting exactly the same prices I could get myself so I gave her the go ahead (obviously looking at the same sites as me and all by phone on a weekend) so she took my credit card details and on Mon morning rings me to tell me the fair she quoted and I wanted to book had gone up by about $60, if I'd booked it myself on the Saturday or Sunday I would have saved................Talk about pissed off and never again, said she couldn't make the booking till the office opened the next day, I say balls as I could have.

I found these guys pretty good for flight prices too.

You should have spoken to the manager and taken it further. They would have honoured the price.
