Does anyone know if the Welshpool pits are still first come first serve?

I've just had a look on the DOT website and it still says it is, but apparently a few months ago they had a sign up saying it's changing to the booking system.

Can anyone confirm this?

only thing now you have to que in the DPI to pay for the inspection, speak to the lady at the front counter and she will have a special number for you so you dont waste half you life waiting for your number to come up

Pay for the inspection over the phone before you go.............So much easier.
