Johnny boy wasn't joking about $1.50/L !!

Got to relax my right foot, change gear at 2000rpm, go for regular 5km jog daily to lighten up and remove the spare tire.

Hmm perhaps i should start riding to work considering i spent $500 on a pushy (maybe put 300kms on it since Christmas) and it probably takes less than 5min more to ride to work..

Maybe i just wont buy an overpriced pie & coke every time i fill up to balance it up!

See that's the funny thing with my car... I find that if i drive it that way, change gears at 2500 or below, it actually chews (or drinks?) more fuel instead of 3000/4000 rpm.

or could it be the starting and stopping all the time at the lights?

Probably because the car is struggling at low revs. Needs more fuel. It's kind of like going up a hill when your not at high enough revs, the engine starts to struggle so to compensate pumps more fuel into it.
