I have followed closely behind a car on a gravel road, it did not have mudflaps and was not covered in a solid shower of orange rain.

There are genuine uses for mudflaps on trucks etc but I am yet to see one for the big fuck off red and black dick extensions of things people put on their cars that never see so much as a cobbled road.
