Hi Guys,

Anyone know of a cheap courier?
Trying to arrange postage of my rims & tyres over to melbourne and apparently aus post wont handle anything that heavy (i estimated weight to be 15kg per box (x4)...

I have used them a few times for computers from melb to Perth and they were cheap (but slow)

i always use e-go, they're great, cheap, drop parcel off at forrestfield depot & away it goes, never had anything lost or damaged, have sent multple large items over east using them, full set of suspension, car bumpers, complete boxed up wiring loom, they offer insurance & different drop options to cut down the cost, can even do online quotes

looking here, Calculate postage - Australia Post as long as the "girth" is less than 140cm (this is height*2 + width *2 ) the length isnt included its about $46 per box from Perth to Melbourne if 16kg,

eg 50x40x30cm at 19-20kg cost $53.95 Perth to Melbourne.

Looks like max weight is 20Kg.

So may not be the weight, but possibly the size.

+1 for E-go (you can get online quotes as well).

pack and send are pretty competitive as well. when i sent my rims across i went to the willeton branch with the E-go quotes and they beat it.

i found that if you dropped off & pick up at the depots you can save some money as well.

in the end i sent mine across through TNT as the buyer had a special rate with TNT so cant really vouch for either of them through experience.

all the best mate
