I left work in Mandurah today to go up to North Perth this afternoon. When I left at about 6, oh my god, the so called Freeway was B***shit. (One way to keep the rex going slow).
My condolences to those people who drive on this everyday.

i drive it every single day.
today was especially bad due to a nice big smash, ambo's, police etc, freeway isn't usually at a standstill for so long.
1hr 10mins to get home from the city during peak hour, 30mins if i leave work after 7pm

haha yea mostly goes in waves, starts with the long distance commuters from joondalup, mandurah, with all us tradies then u get the office jerks most of which can't merge let along hold a set speed haha then dead quiet untill the arvo again, yay!!!

I spend 10mins getting to and from work in Applecross, leave early enough in the morning and finish at 4:30pm to avoid most of the traffic.

I feel sorry for you other guys, really I do....

In my little "city" we have a total of 11 sets of traffic lights, I live 10 minutes tops from anywhere I need to go. Travel to & from jobs is nice & casual, no stress, even at peak times. Our fuel is a bit more expensive but a tank lasts a fortnight on average so no biggie...
