Uploading a mp3 to a forum

Hello all,

Just curious i need to upload a mp3 on to a forum for other people to download straight from a link that i would post on there, how do i create a link and upload a song from my laptop for other users to download.

Never done this before and not sure how easy it is to do?

You cant to a forum - the traffic of moving the file up and down could be huge.

Host it on somewhere like mediafire etc and post the link.

Only concern with Dropbox is that you have a 2.0 or 2.5gb limit for a free account, you can bump it up in 500mb increments by inviting people or paying a monthly fee.

Another alternative is ftp space that (hopefully) most Internet Service Providers allocate with your internet plan.
If memory serves me right I get 1Gb with my internet plan.

I've uploaded stuff and shared it to a lot of people before in the past and haven't had any (speed, hosting or sharing) issues with it.
