Default A/C Borken Down At The Worst Time

Hi Guys, my Daikin ducted A/C decide to break down during Xmas period with.

I had lodged a service claim with Daikin but it's not likely to get action till next week.

With 4-5 days of heat have, can I get another A/C contractor to get it fix? The unit is still under warranty

The controller unit show error code E7.

Anyone know who can help during the holiday season?

Thanks

Joel

Daiken E7 error

Suggest not if fan motor is dead. Turn system power off for one minute. Might cause reset.

Thumbs down

Thanks for all the input guys.

Because the unit is still under warranty, I have to get it repaired by Daikin appointed repairer or the dealer.

Earliest to get fixed will be 2/01/2013...6 more days to go.

So were you on one of those (many) boats moored near Applecross/Attadale foreshore that I was windsurfing past yesterday?
