iiNet have been so FKN flakey its not funny!

time to churn!

- webmail used to be stable now just intermittent;
- international websites intermittently load or not;
- 24Mbit is a lie;

Wish I had a complaint to make...lol Im fired up just from reading that !

Im facing same battle with insurance companies.

Its true.. big business just doesnt give a fuck abour the little guy.

Dickheads dont understand that bad customer service stories spread faster and better than good service stories !

I've had nothing but great service from iiNet for the past 4yrs (ADSL and home phone).....couldn't be happier actually.

Telstra and iPrimus on the other hand.....

So this suprises me.

yeah but i want 24MBit dammit. sif get 12MBit.

maybe its the dodgy iinet belkin modem

i rarely have to call support so their service has been pretty good otherwise

but bundling is gay. and price increases are gay. esp the one for minimum call spend on VoIP $4.95. dodgy coz they know 9/10 people don't use VoIP.

At work we have multiple ADSL Lines becuase we can't afford downtime. Amcom, westnet and iiNet... we are directly accross the road from the exchange and we get SOLID 24Mbit down

If you don't want downtime, don't get a 'residential' grade ADSL service then, pay a bit more (instead of having 3 adsl lines) for a business grade service or get fibre from Amcom. Then if it does happen to go down, you're protected by a SLA.

Fibre would be relatively cheap seeing as though they already have backhaul from their dslam in the exchange across the road from you..

3 lines seems like a massive overkill and you'd probably save in the long run.

Your joking right?

Fibre to our building has a 10K build cost and $1750 per month for 10M/10M.

Buisness grade adsl is a rip off, we can run three residential lines through load balancing equipment for half the price and 10 times the throughput. I agree they have an SLA but by no means are you protected, Everytime a carrier goes down for our clients the buisness grade side goes down too. All they get is money back... I'm not saying it happens often though.

ADSL is a great technology but IMHO the only buisness grade ADSL worth looking at is Amcom, but since most Amcom is on their won equipment anyway you may as well stick with residential for now.
