New property has a little shed on it already, not really big enough to spend any time in unfortunately But it was clearly put up by somebody with a clue on a proper base and it's rock solid. Don't skimp on the base or flooring. If you put a $5000 shed onto a shitty base, it'll be a shitty shed. |

Ideally you want a concrete floor, but we mustn't forget power either! You will need it for the big tv in the corner, the beer fridge and drill recharger's etc etc.
Oh you will also need a sink (experience tells me that mums and GF's dont like when you bring dirt into their laundry!) with running water, a toilet and a couch or some comfy chairs. Oh and definitely dont forget the girly calender! If your going to spend time in their, you might as well enjoy it even more |

best thing would be (like that beer ad) if your mates are neighbours, and you all build your sheds in thesame corner of each block so all the sheds are together - do some modifications etc - so you just move a couple walls and you have one big hall... workshop, pool table, maybe a spa etc. :P
