Is limewire like the old Kazza? Recently i've got adsl, but i dont want to d/l to much, but i'd certainly like a few more songs..

Limewire is full of spyware.

Limewire Pro is not spyware, because its supposed to be a paid version, and therefore the Limewire developers dont have to jam pack it full of rubbish spyware to pay for its development.

SWIM (someone who isnt me) uses Limewire Pro with much success for single mp3s, and SWIM also uses Azureus for downloading torrents found on mininova.org

Or use Azureus to download limewire pro

eMule is the way to go!!! Been on it for about 2.5 years, pretty much get anything ya want.


Predecessors to eMule include (in reverse order): WinMX, Morpheus, Grokster, Aimster, KaZaA, Limewire, & good ol' Napster back in the bad old days

I also heard you can use azureus to only d/l certain files on an album. Say like you didn't want the whole album. However i also heard from this person that it can waste a few MB's trying to get 1 file out of many

i use emule, very slow but has alot of content in full .rar or .zip files.
very good for finding old albums ect. not the fastest, but i find some rare material, and alot of discographys

limewire pro is the way to go
dont use ordinary limewire, it will fill ur cpu full fo crap, totally fucked mine up.

get limwire..and then use it once....to download limewire pro

Yeah azureus gives you option to pick which files you want from an album, just untick the rest.
