RIP Paul and Roger :(
I don't see how anyone could have survived that even if people had gotten to the scene quicker, there's nothing left of the car. Working in Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation I can say that should they have survived they both would have been severely injured and never would have been the same most likely requiring 24/7 care. I hope that they passed away quickly :(.

Just saw another photo of the wreckage from the other side. They hit 3 trees and a pole, one tree is down on the ground as is the pole :(

Yeah it's such a Shame, both were huge care enthusiasts and helping out a good cause on the day. R.I.P

Come on, every time someone "famous" dies it takes all of about 5 seconds before there are hundreds of jokes on the Internet pertaining to that person, or the situation in which they died, no matter how tragic the circumstance.

If people can't handle that, I suggest they remove themselves from the Internet. In saying that, just saw this on Facebook:

I'd suggest that the disrespect is the extravagant amount of time given to a "star" like PW rather than the hundreds of ordinary people who die tragically every day with no mention or concern from anyone.

I liked the FF franchise of films, however, that doesn't make me think that PW's death was any greater than any others that occurred on the same day.

As I see it, the real tragedy in this incident, is that a couple of people have added their names to those that have lost there lives to what appears to be reckless behaviour on the roads.

Instead of the message being brought home, there seems to be a misguided assumption that they died in some way befitting to their passions.

Keep it on the race track.

If it was some bogan who killed himself smashing into a tree in his falcoon, out come the jokes about Darwinism, removing himself from the gene pool etc etc.
Why should it be any different just because he is a movie star.
