I do like Brendon's idea of a monthly PWRX poker night, similar to your informal set-up - how big are the blinds & who's got a table & chips?

I have a fairly large setup of chips... I think it needs to be private (ie at someones place) otherwise you have to get a gaming permit, and thats expensive.

I reckon you would start the blinds at $5 and $10 and every 15 minutes they increase. Maybe to $10 and $20. $15 and $30 then $20 and $40. Any other ideas?

I think you guys are onto something way cool here. This has got huge potential....

gday fellas. the names wato and i play footy at kenwick. our club started a regular casual poker session on friday nights. we have bigger poker tournaments quite regularly (once a month i think) all no limit texas hold'em and all that other bizo. im not a full bottle on the 'poke her' scene so best thing come and have a geez. everyones welcome. usually $20 buy in (but changes) and all the winnings goes to the players who place first second third. depending on how many people are playing determines how the money is split. good chance to kick back with a few drinks as well. played my first last week and came second rolled out with $80 bucks not bad...eh careful tho...it can become an addiction...later
