Default MYOB or Quicken?

I know its not rex orientated but some feedback from business owners/managers would be great.

I'm looking at utilising either of the above mentioned programs for my business. Including point of sale, inventory, sales, invoicing, pricing, tax, discounts, pricelists etc etc.

Anyone had experience? Pro's and con's etc??

thanks in advance

Jme

I use Quickbooks Premier in my business. Have been using it for quite some time and have no complaints. I would recommend getting the free trial of both MYOB and Quickbooks software and testing them both out before you buy. Also there is also the Quicken Advantage program, which for a fee gives you the latest software updates every year, plus unlimited support (which if you are new to the software, you *may* need )

Despite my use of Quickbooks, I am yet to get a Porsche though! Maybe next year...

Good luck with the accounting,

John.

having owned my own businesses.. i recommened MYOB or Writing you own.

Quicken was just way to over complicated.. MYOB simple and fairly good support.

MyOb is very basic and easy to play with, i cant talk for quickbooks, but i use a bit of myob and alot of timberline,
if its for yourself and ur not the greatest accounting minded get myob, very easy to use and learn,
plus if u really cared u could do a tafe course to teach you how to master it
