but u can't get to know the person, on the inside as personality is the BIG winner here, right

well shit, we bwtter retrospectively go back in time and ban Bullit, cause I'm sure that made a lot of our parents want to dorift a siq car too

teejay 25-06-2006 10:41 PM

Well we went and watched it on the the opening night at Garden City.

By the time we had walked out the front, some dude in a Kingswood panel van was doing a skid!

We then proceeded to watch about 20 other cars, about 50% p platers, follow suit. We actually filmed it so if my mate has it on video ill host it for a giggle.

Point is, that argument is valid. But that means any movie could be banned for similar grounds. Its stupid scaremongering to win viewers.

And i bet none of the antilag members were involved in doing stupid stuff like that were they ;)

i have a mate of mine that went and watched the movie. On the way home he ended up drifting his skyline into a box kerb and cracked/ripped the front bumper off. He is currently seeking legal action to see if the makers of f&f can provide compensation for leading him to believe he can drift like they do in the movie. My mate also thought because his looks are slightly similar to the main character, that this would help. I will let you know how it goes ;).

If thats true, i (and im sure the rest of us) think your mate is a complete and utter MORON. I mean come on....

mr_psi 25-06-2006 11:33 PM

whats drugs was ya mate on at the time?

stilysh 25-06-2006 11:40 PM

haha nah first part is true, he did crash his skyline on the way home from the movie thinking he could drift like them. The second part was him talking it up a little bit, but very funny stuff none the less

None at all actually. We got in our cars , drove out of there, went and had coffee and went home.

1 - We are smart enough to know that there was going to be a increased police precense on the roads that night

2 - I can personally assure you Mat that burnouts in shopping centre carparks arnt the stuff my dreams are made of.

jEstEr? 26-06-2006 01:24 AM

after i saw the movie i saw a black ceffie limiter bashing its way out the carpark sideways
