just saw a ad on the tele for today tonight or some acurrent affair show, for tomorrow about the effects of the above movie on perth's "hoons." only caught the trail end of the ad but basically they want to ban the showing of the film in perth as it will MAKE ALL THE YOUNG DRIVERS into crazy drift attempting dicks!! showed the old hoon footage we've all seen to death (get some new material!!! wai... :rolleyes: jj) the yellow R34 carpark raceing ect.

c'mon, seriously? yes it will cause the some of the small, simple minded drivers to think they are driveing a race/drift car on a track on their journey home, but will banning it really stop that happening??

of course it will amp everyone up a bit, but they cant ban a movie for that, im quite sure they have a disclaimer about the driving being performed by professionals too, just a reason for today/tonight (or similar) to fill in 10 minutes of pure utter crap into peoples lives.
I just watched 'Hostel' so we better ban that, cause now i want to butcher people, and root hot italian birds. more so the latter of the two.

exactly the whole point of a movie is to effect us, supposed to be emotionally but hey what can you do

might be a valid excuse for when people try and outrun/hide from cops ...... but i saw it in the original F&F movie officer!!!!

I promise you this, when the next Rocky film is released (it's in post production stages now), I'm going to propose a ban on it because it will make italian guys think they can fight.
