Default old nokia phone

I have a very old nokia mobile phone which has not been used for a while now when i insert a sim card its asking for the security code which i have forgotten
apart from taking it to nokia who will charge about $80.00 just to look at it, is there a way to bypass them and use the phone ?
its an 8250 nokia

thanks

i think it might be a pin sim... if not, you can get the phone reflashed at a place called PhoneEzy in Carillion City for $30...

Get it wrong 3 times.. then it will ask for a PUK code.. then u can get that for free from ur Network.. Telstra or Optus. then u have to reset ur security pin

"Security" is your phone pin not the sim pin. Idolyz advice with the $30 bucks would be your cheapest option.

Tho there are only 1,953,125 possible combinations.. so you could just go through them.

yeah take it to phoneezy unless you have your own cable and you want to reflash it yourself.

i've lost his number, but he's usually busy, so doesnt answer. I went in and he did it on the spot.
