Default Auto locksmith required

The ignition barrel on my daily BA Falcon no longer springs back when switching to START. Ford forums suggest that Ford will replace the whole steering column and barrel and it'll cost a grand. The alternative is an auto locksmith who can glue the tab back on that holds the return spring in place.

Can anyone suggest or recommend an auto locksmith in Perth please? If you know they have experience with Ford cars, even better.

Thank you!

Cheers,
Matt.

Ive swapped a few columns on those cars because of the steering lock failing. Ive never tried 'repairing' them though. Its not the sort of thing you want to jam up when driving. Cooked starter. Or worst case scenario, lock comes on while trying to negotiate a turn...

This might seem pretty random, but try Lubemobile....(I know, Lubemobile right! WTF !!) they can apparently fix these sort of issues. May be worth a call at least & if the can help it would be cheaper than going to ford!!
