996 to 997 front end conversion
i've been reading up a bit about the 911 turbos recently.
found this interesting car... a 911 turbo 996 with a conversion to 997 model and major changes to the front end. modded inside and out.. and it's (bakks) low ! i don't really like the mods but it's interesting ppl can go so far with a $350k (new) car !

Since your on the subject of porsches any chance you could help me identify my employers car, Below is a picture of the same shape model
He was explaining that it had hit some 11 second passes BEFORE they put larger turbos and ECU in it, it has awd and traction control is it just a 911 TT or a GT version of some sort...its also canary yellow. |

That pic is a 911 (993) turbo. If he has put the same model GT2 turbos EMS etc it would be very capable of an 11 sec run. The GT2/GT3's are the street legal race bread versions of the 911, GT2 being turbo and GT3 N/A. Both loose the awd and a lot of weight with other typical performance upgrades for the track.

Car pictured has air bag suspension and the wheels are your typical ricer, looks fat would drive like shit
993 turbo would need k24's off the GT2 (either 993 or 996) variant and around 1bar to run well into 11's(with matching ecu map and zorst). TT's tend to run decent mph but arent the best package for drag racing, with 60ft's generally getting no lower than 1.7 on a good day. I've been researching this quite a bit lately.

Too low, wheels look like pus, How to fuck up a nice looking car really. The handling would be all out of whack. Bit of a poser!
