Default Finally a decent gaming EXPO in Perth

Been waiting for some gaming expo on the scale of E3 to come to Perth. Never thought it'll happen, but here it is.

GO3 Electronic Entertainment EXPO 2007
March 30th - April 1st

Not like that's a bad thing.

E3 got stupidly large, as such it just turned into an example of who could piss away the most money on their displays.

E3 never made money, just cost publishers a bundle. They've finally realised what a fuckin' waste of cash it was.

I reckon.

See, E3 was meant to be an industry show. Then it became something that just about any blogging clown could get a pass too and became overcrowded with fuckwits.

There's a great video on youtube/googlevideo/teh intarweb of the doors opening and people bum rushing the nintendo booth. It shows really nicely what went wrong with E3. Went from being a civilised, business centered show, to something for rowdy, impatient fuckers. I can only imagine how hard that made it to get any serious work done.
