I dont see the point of this without posting his name.

P.S I certainly do feel your pain right about now, luckily my car is not a write off.

Upon reflection, here is what I would do.

File a complaint against the driver. This can be done at any police station. Do this TODAY, the longer you leave it the harder it will be to get results.

To the best of my knowledge, you will be able to file a complaint along the lines of negligent driving, but also leaving the scene of an accident. The driving won't get much attention, but leaving the scene of an accident is a biggy.

The catch is having a witness though, if you have an impartial party that saw some of it you stand a much greater chance of having something done. Without one, the cops will blow some smoke up their ass but can't do much unless they admit to it.

Filed something similar when a friend and I were just about run off the road by a cockhead in an RVR a few years ago.

Just to add to EC's post.

Make a complaint about it mate. My girlfriend got rear ended by some chick in an Excel who did a runner a few months ago and she had some witnesses and got the number plate. She made a complaint to the police and the other day we got some info in the mail about the driver so something DOES happen.

Default Car Damage

Just a question, how did the other driver who was driving like a dick cause the other car to change into your lane causing you to lose control whilst slowly accelerating to 100 causing you to crash. You did not mention how the dick head caused you to crash. Were you trying to catch him to tell him to stop being a dickhead or was the dickhead driver driving the car that forced you off the road?

I read it again, and this is how it paints the picture in my head.

3 lane freeway, Narchi is in the left hand lane, truck is in the center, other driver is elsewhere (on the right maybe?).

Narchi is coming up the left lane slowly getting ahead of the truck.

Once he reaches the front of the truck, the other driver has crossed lanes in front of the truck and into the left most lane, attempting to occupy the same space as Narchi and his/her car. To avoid collision with the other driver, Narchi pulled into the emegency stopping area, lost traction, spun and bingled the car.

Essentially it sounds like this other driver wasn't checking lanes before switching and has forced Narchi off the road, the truck was in the middle of it all.
