hey all i just thought i'd bitch and moan about how shitty the legal system is.
i have great respect for anyone that is so unfortunate to be a lawyer/judge ect, as i have know idea how you guys can go to a court room everyday for a career, your days must go sooooo slowly.
i went to court thismorning to provide evidence for an assult i recieved last year in april, in which i had two teeth kicked out and left with a fuckoff dental bill. anyways all was going gd untill he did something completely unexpected, he pleeded innocent, and dobbed his brother in as the person to kick me teeth out. anyways this throws out all my statements and witnesses that say they saw person X kick me. anyways so the brother went on to tell the court that yes he had infact got the boot in ect.
so this case got thrown out and we were told we have to take up the matter in a civil court at my own expense, and aparently there is some bullshit law stateing that what the two brothers said today cannot be used as evidence in a civil court and they don't have to repeat what they have said today to anyone ever again. so basically i get screwed over thanks to our criminal loveing legal system.
i can however take up the matter of being out of pocket through the "victims of crime" people, but it's not as satisfying getting what you pay in tax back, i wantted him to be well up shits creek.

o well shit happens aye, makes life interesting......

Make an Application to the Criminal Injury Compensation Tribunal....

I know someone close to me who made a claim there and got $3600 for a light facial bruise in a fight when a guy tried to rob them.

After that...

Post his name and number and Im sure someone will arrange to get his teeth kicked out too. Eye for an eye.

I've been through a similar thing... was involved in an assault on aus day one year. The idiot was from my school so I knew who he was and where he lived. He blamed it on his brother too. Cops said they were going to press charges, but in the end was too much effort, so they dropped the charges. Two months later, the same fuckwit broke someone elses jaw in two places.

Perth is a small place. His time will come.

I'm in a a very similar position. I was waiting for a taxi (at 9pm on a Sunday night)last year when a bloke pulled up in a car, leapt out and hit me accross the face with an axe handle, breaking my two front teeth. I had never seen this bloke before in my life but apparently one of the guys I play football with had an argument with his younger brother earlier in the evening.

It's been over a year since the incident, the police say they are still working on it and will notify me of any outcome.

In the meantime it's cost several hundred dollars to have a temporary cap put on each tooth, but my Dentist tells me I will eventually need crowns, costing over $1000 per tooth.

I cannot make a claim with the Criminal Injury Compensation Tribunal until there is an outcome in the police investigation. As of yet i don't think the bloke has even been charged.

How's that for justice?

Eye for an Eye works might not be the mature way but if you do it carefully, you wont get caught and generally teaches pricks a better lesson than what a judge will
