Default Side Mounted Numberplate Holder???

As opposed to attaching the number plate directly to the front bumper with self tapping screws, is there a bracket that can be fixed to the underside or the front bar of the vehicle for the number plate to be attached to?

I swear I have seen these used on the HPI DVD's in Japan, might just be my imagination tho.

Wouldn't think it'd be a hard thing to fabricate.

Ive seen a lot of bodge jobs on side mount Plates (Darryn!) But a good quality mounting bracket would be a good idea. Gets it out of the way of air flow on a FMIC.

What about this... A number plate that folds in when the speed get to the point that frontal airflow on the plate causes the bracket to fold in underneath the front bar...

Or the plate can be moved activated by a switch in the cabin...

hahahaha...I'm sure the plates folding like that has anything to do with better air flow for the FMIC. But it does help with other things when you're reaching ludicrous speed
