Don't forget that at the plex, the surface is much stickier, so you need more revs on board to avoid bogging.

I think its better to get a tiny bit of wheelspin , as it stops you bogging down.

6000 rpm is your friend. Even better if you can preload the car so its got boost before launch.

yeha i think for my first run ill give it a 6k drop, see how that goes, quick clutch drop not too quick thou and go from there, gearbox will be able to handle it so not too worried about a 6k launch, will run antilag on it to then. will be stoked if i can run anything 12.4 or under. Althou would love to see one of the better drivers from here take a run in my car n see what they can pull

My tyres are running out, anyone here can help me out which brand of tyres will be gd on street and plex? After the tyres sort, will go down and give it a shot.

i was launching consistently at 6500-6600 rpm, bogs down to 4200-4500 with wheel spin for a 1.8 60ft'r, thats with 45psi tire pressure and lining up over the rubber marks of the previous guys run.

45 psi is huge ! But I can understand it, keeping the firewall stiff so it doesnt flex , grip, and bog.

I did a 1.8 with about 5500 rpm , slight slip, wheelspin , and 205 tyres at 32 psi

i was more concerned about avoiding a quick hook up and throwing an axle... like last time

guessing with std top mount (get water spray happening if you dont already) and you should run low 13's to high 12's depending on launch

You'd surely be looking at mid 12's. I ran 13.5 with a crappy launch and an exhaust, std boost, HKS POD and a BOV NFI what the tyre pressure was- not that serious!

Also loose some weight! Dont race on a full tank, take spare tyre out etc.
