I was lucky enough to pick up a signed eagles jumper (Judd and Embley) at half time of the game at my footy club via auction. It sold for $420. But the way Ilooked at it...the jumper held signatures of a Brownlow medalist and possible premiership captain along with vice captain little did i know was soon to be a norm smith medalist.
And im not even an eagles supporter, look good above the bar tho.
Give credit where credit is due...Great game by the weagles...

You can knock the eagles as much as you want, whinge and bring up the past about who won western derby's blah blah blah, in the end 2006 will read eagles as minor and major premiers, and thats all that counts.

yerp id rather lose both derbies in the year and win the grand final. Doesnt matter wether the dockers won em both, west coast are still the better side. Just didnt play up to their best in the derbies.

Its obvious to me you dont follow a team at all... indeed i if someone else had to win the flag, i guess it'd be the dockers. but... in saying that i like other sides much better than the dockers. but its good for WA, and getting more WA kids to play aussie rules, not that soccer crap. Without the WA kids growing up to play AFL there will always be the "go home" factor when the WA teams Draft interstate players.

I think its important to have a favourite team... but the bitterness between some of the supporters of either of the WA teams is ridiculous...
