Unhappy Air Con not Working Help!

Hi all,

Any Air Conditioning experts here ?
My LG split system is on the blink. The internal unit is just blowing air around without any cooling. The external Compressor is not working either.

I'm hoping its just a fuse in the external fuse box, one for the internal unit and one for the external. Any suggestions, or time to call in the experts ?

Thx

J

yeah it could be a number of things. my ducted in my last house did same thing. was an element in the out side unit which got clogged up. second time was some little part in the out side unit as well .. but mine was under warranty. so not sure what it would have cost.

is your under warranty still

I had a similar problem and there was a reset switch under the front panel. I pressed that and all has been good (so far!)

yeah didnt think of that could be outside circuit breaker next to compressor unit main power switch. or reset switch.

Thumbs up

Air Con Fixed.

For the LG/Kelvinator (Non Inverter) Air Con Units the Fan and Compressor start up off the same Capacitor. Its about the size of a Walbro Fuel Pump. Mine was gone, evidenced by the bulging of the top and bottom of the silver capacitor.

$60 part that you can replace yourself if you know what to look for.
