Daylight Savings
As you know parliment has given us less than 2 weeks until daylight savings.
As such you will know that your PC probably does not have that little "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" checkbox. Thanks to uncle Bill at Microsoft there is now a fix as of today... I am note sure if they will send it out in the 'Windows update' so... 1. Go to the link below. From the 3 files at the bottom download the "i386" file. 2. Run it up and let it install. 3. Once installed, double-click your clock in the bottom right of your screen. 4. Go to the "Time Zone" tab. 5. Check the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes"/ After this your computer will automatically change the clock for you as required over the 3 year trial. Yes, it knows the dates to change the clock forward/back as required over the next 3 years. Feel free to send on to your other Western Australian friends. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...isplayLang=en1 Just in case you think this patch is irrelevant and you don't need it then do yourself a favour and read up on 'Kerberos authentication time skew', if not just enjoy the patch.
