Default phone problems

hey everyone,

well i got a new phone. its a sony erricsson k630i/v630i (one of the two) and im with optus (i bought the fone outright and used my old sim) so as its a vodefone fone optus dosent have the software for it so just wondering if anyone knows where to get the software from to use mms, wap and all that.

i think you have to phone vodafone and will tell you how to do it i think

goto Fone Ezy in the city, and ask him to reflash the software for you.

if you call your service provider Vodafone they will be able to send you the relevant settings.

not really because the phone is from optus and they would of locked the relevant settings to their service.

Have you tried going to http://wireless.vodafone.com.au/ and get vodafone to send your phone all the GPRS & WAP setting to your mobile and see what happens.

tried gettint the software of both optus and vodefones website but for some reason they dont have my phone model and the other ones dont work. tried ringing vodefone and optus aswell. might have to try fone ezy like chee said

u can go on-line and have the software removed free or unlocked free, as for getting the correct gprs setting etc thats up to optus to create.. give it a month or so and optus will have the phone approved.
