Audi ftw.

If you can - try and convince joe to take you for a ride in his uncles? Audi 3L TDI.

My god - such a nice car! Out of your price range, I know.... but regardless. Such a nice car! I want!

Speaking of which - they've released an A4 variant with the same 3L TDi motor. That thing must hoot along!

Haha yeah dude, A6 TDi ftw. 450nm of torque at 1400rpm!!!!!

The A4 with the same motor is extremely quick for a TDi..

paying for brand ? what you are paying for is a car that has the qualities and extras that alot of cars dont have .

Audi or 330ci sounds good , BMW my fav like Tino (especially the new turbo model) but it think audi may offer you bit more for you money then BMW

i was actually looking at 3 series coupes ( older ones mind you though 97-98's ) before i bought the rex. i know wrx's aren't exactly cheap to fix but i was scared off by the cost to mod or fix the BMW so got put off.

but that was me!!

in your case i'd go an audi well equiped and cause there doesnt seem to be as many of em as BMW's and look sweet when dumped on big rims!

by the time i sell the rex and look for the car, the Audi A4 B7 series ( s-line or quattro) will fir into my price range

Really keen on a black B7, im falling in love.

BTW - how are the tiptronic gearboxes in them? Or should I opt for a manuel?

Tode, the missus bought a brand new A3 2.0T FSI with the dsg box option in january. Awesome little car, loads of grunt. Very well built...i have the maloo R8 and the audi SHITS on it for build quality and NVH, euro>aussie prestige any day of the week.

I'd tip an A4 1.8T quattro. Safety, ample cruising power. A subtle kit, pimp wheels on its arse would be phat. I'd personally go an audi over a bmer. An exhaust and giac ecu flash would give it a bit more grunt whilst remaining reliable and making all the right noises without investing silly money.
