Seeing as he is running the auto atm I presume that he needed a new bell housing? Knowing darren if this was the case I would almost bet he is in for the whole slog. Reckons it is an 'investment'. Prolly cause he could not find any secondhand ones for sale so figures if he ever strips the car he should still get great money for it.

He had some photos taken of it today that will be appearing in Perth Street Car. He wants to see 9's out of it.

Whether it is true or not I dont know but he reckons he rang dick johnson racing and asked about the hollingers they run and they reckon they have never had a failure. Figured that was a pretty good endorsement.

He reckons that he is up to 450 rwkw at the moment.

Lookin good Ramon.

Is there a gap through to the back seats that I can see there? What's happening with that area, will the amp rack's be able to swing and close that gap or what's the deal?

WRXRW 23-04-2007 01:28 PM

the amps stay like that, the gap stays there for the vent into the cabin, but be covered in black cloth

stylish... my next car (sedan) will have a pretty custom setup like that.

Have you worked out how much it's going to weigh Ramon? I would imagine the sub's by them selves would tally up to 100kg+ . Did you weigh the car before hand so you can see the difference?

Looks hot Ramon!

who's doing the job ramon? Alberts?

WRXRW 23-04-2007 01:40 PM

its made the rear end sag about 1/2 an inch on the dms's and that's with just two subs in there atm. when i dropped it off, with a bootful of junk in the trunk it was lower than that but of course that's without the weight of the optima's and mdf/glass so im expecting to adjust the height on the struts when its all done. not stressed out about the weight penalty, just have to turn up the boost to balance it out!
