yup, i almost bought a full out camera bag but for the lenses/gear i have and for the other shit i wanted to carry around, it really would have been a waste

The Karachi Outpost by Crumpler FTW!

Holds lenses, lappy and the main zip is behind your back so you have to take the backpack off to get at the goodies. There is no way into the bag from the front at all. Its 100% water proof too, with two shell skins. They are about $295 from the crumpler shop in shafto lane in the city. Its what Im taking to europe.

I have a tamrac which I took around the U.S with me but it only holds the camera. Is a good bag none the less.

And its a decent bag too...

yeah that would be my choice if i had only camera gear to bring with me, but it had no room for a lappy, plus i didn't want to leave a bottle of water or whatever in the camera compartment.
