not normally. I was fine for about 3 hours. But when we went after the sharks, the sea was real choppy. At least a metre between wave crest and dip. Doesnt sound like much, but when you're in a dinghy its a bit unsettling.

I just do mainly river fishing.

Garratt Road and Maylands Yacht Club because they're close to home. Generally do OK - Don't keep though, just fish for the sport, not the food.

Went out to Mosman Bay the other day and caught a few nice, sizey Bream which put up a GREAT fight. A few blowies about but still quite good.

Got a new reel last week too, 7 ball bearings - Man it's so smooth to cast / reel now! I'm in love :P

BAH! 7 ball bearings. I just got a Daiwa 10 ball bearing light reel. Smoother than a babys bottom.

I also go down garrat street bridge. I usually go out onto the bridge and sit on the big ass pipe and cast under the bridge. Generally an good reliable fishing spot.

Where do you usually cast from around the garrat street bridge.

you've obviously never caught a really big bream.

The big old bream over 45cm pull like a freight train. And I have seen them get up to 65cm long.

On light tackle those fish put up a good fight.
