my workmate has one, and i find it far too thick and cumbersome. feels large and clumsy.
i have a s/e k750. compared to the nokia it feels very compact.

What are ya doing with the 8250.. technology museum

But seriously when it comes to making calls & writing text I don't think there's been a phone better then the 8210/8250. You could write a text message while your driving & eating a burger..

I had a few Ericsson's & a Samsungs that shat me so much that I was looking in the quakka for an 8250. I would have gotten one too if I hadn't gotten a work phone.

i was always a very loyal nokia lover..
until the sony ericsson k750 came along last year. i bought one as soon as it hit the shelves and loved it. great phone - everything i could want. awesome, i thought.

as it stands at this moment, my beloved k750's fault list after 12 months looks something like the following;

joystick no longer scrolls left, right, up or down. rather, each of these actions now activates the centre menu button. that means no scrolling for predictive text, no easy menu scrolling, no name/number scrolling, no message scrolling.
a little painful.

the memory card flap fell off. in my pocket. no rock climbing or rodeo bull riding (it happens), just as it was sitting comfortably in my pocket.

1gb memory card and the slot itself now no longer work. likely due to the above.

messages are commonly received as corrupt and unreadable. requiring the sender to resend. likely due to hard memory fault.

the pc/charge plug on the bottom no longer works, and battery therefore must be charged externally.

as for getting my intimate 2megapixel photos onto the computer now - i can just use bluetooth, right? wrong. can't scroll to bluetooth menu because of joystick fault.

camera lens has developed two large "splodges" which overlay any prize-winning photos i might take.

camera shutter button no longer works.

the top menu buttons have fallen off.

the sliding battery cover has to be sticky-taped on, so as to not fall off and release battery mid 1902 sex call.

and many, many more...

Me & my old man both had Ericsson t29's, those things spent more time in the shop then with us. Both were replaced in the end.

I had the K600 & some other SE's, good features & all but the 8210's were just so simplistically perfect... retro sheik baby.

Best nokia ever made was the 5110 closely followed by the 6310. Old school FTW.

5110 ha.. I had a friend with one of those, man they were pigs.

I've recently become even too cool for a 6310 & picked up one of these bad boys.

I take it you boys have all seen the POKIA stuff? would be cool.. for about 5 mins.
