Default replica vs. non replica

hey guys just in the market for some WORK KAI CR rims and am gonna go purchase them tomorro... just wondering how you tell the difference if they are replicas or the real things?

I'd imagine the real ones will have FORGED stamped on the inside of them, and probably WORK stamped on the outside. or pick them up and see if they weigh 5kg or 70 ! =)

haha good call... i would imagine that would have work embedded in them aswell... alright awesome... looks like they will stand out like dogg sh*t if they were replicas... awesome cheers matt

Have you seen the ebay VORK rip offs?

Stay away from these things. They may be okay for the riced out FWD honda, but I wouldnt put them on anything with significant power output. And don't even think of putting these on a track. I have seen some mighty wheel failures when people put cheap mutlistud rims on a track. Dangerous.

Most thrashed out pic on the net ever of a rim failure.

No one actually tells you why the rim ended up like that....

Even the copies are ok these days if they are made in the right spot... they will suffice for looks, but the car will handle like poo with all the unsprung weight.
