Default Neighbourly Love - TS

Once again...Sorry if a repost but a mate sent me this article.

This is a true story, it happened in Utah and was on the news! I

Here's the story.

A city councilman, Mark Easton, lives in this neighbourhood. He had a
beautiful view of the east mountains, until a new neighbour purchased
the lot below his house and built. Apparently, the new home was 18
inches
higher than the ordinances would allow, so Mark Easton, mad about his
lost view, went to the city to make sure they enforced the lower roof
line ordinance. Mark and his new neighbour had some great arguments
about this as you can imagine - not great feelings. The new neighbour
had
to drop the roof line - no doubt at great expense. Recently, Mark
Easton called the city and informed them that his new neighbour had
installed some vents on the side of his home. Mark didn't like the
look of these vents and asked the city to investigate. When they went to
Mark's home to see the vent view, this is what they found...

He got off easy, I would have turned that big grass patch in between the house and fence into a dustbowl.

I hate people who are anal about bullshit council rules. I really hate my own council.

Dont live in the town of Vincent of you can avoid it. The council rangers are a bunch of trigger happy fucktards with their parking ticket issuing machine.

Try gettin approval for anything less than a 9 metre set back in the city of nedlands, oh hell no, all the houses have to be in line. Useless...

Know of someone who has a 180m2 block with a 9 metre setback, there ends up being about 100m2 of useable land to build on, but then theres minimum distances from boundaries on every other side, gg city of nedlands?

Forget the house, forget the carvan, hell, forget the humpie, looks like teepees are the way to go.
