heard a rumour that skippers of commercial vessels with passengers can lose their ticket if they run out of fuel so think hitting the bridge is a bit of a no no but yes everyone makes mistakes poor bloke.

Yeh, theres fairly strict rules for holders of "Coxswains" and "Master Class" tickets. I guess its probably the same as taxi drivers and the like. You have a fair chunk of responsibility for your pax and if you stuff up, you deserve to loose the ticket.

Although i have NFI what happened so it could have been an accident. At least some of the pax see the humour in it all
