LOL Adventure is one way of putting it, 6 months is a long time too spend in a place like that without running into some difficult situations. You dont exactly have to piss anyone off when I was in some places in Tanzania only white people around you stand out like Dog Balls!! doesnt help being 6foot 7 I spose people notice you haha

Its a 6 week on 2 week off roster. totally fuckn crap but I have definitely done worse rosters.

On a serious note, would your employer provide safety etc? A mate has just returned from some hairy parts in the middle east (with a new 30ft boat and land cruiser) and he reckons his employer looked after him pretty well and made sure he was "reasonably" safe!
