Sounds like loss of licence - Does anyone know when you lose your licence due to demerits, you get them all back when you get your licence back?

yup, essentially its 12 points then a loss/suspension for 3 months i believe, after you serve the 3 months you get your 12 points back again.

Any points you gain whilst still having some left i.e without getting a suspension takes 3 years to clear and re-gain.

However insure at that point hits ya when you say yup i got 1 suspension... woohoo.

If you lose 15 points before they take your license off you, when you get it back you will only have 9 points to play with. IIRC

thats true, i had already earned 11 points and copped a 3 pointer, got my lic back with 2 points already accumulated

I lost my license once with 9 points on it...

...when I found it it still had 9 points and some chip crumbs!
