Stace, the other option you need to decide on is the seats. You can have the standard in the VX / Sahara which is 8 seats or you can drop back to 7 seats but you pick up the long range fuel tank. From memory it is about another $1400. The GXL comes stock with the long range tank and 7 seats. We went for the long range tanks in mothers Sahara. Given we take the rear seats out anyways to fit golf clubs in it seemed the logical way forward.

I'll ask the question but there was a limited edition due out about now but the tsunami might have stuffed all of that up.

Supply is pretty short at the moment but I will find out.

I'm in the office on Monday so I will dig out what we paid for ours. My mates GXL was a bit skewed because they paid drug money for his red dust Prado. I have to send some rego stuff to my guy tomorrow anyways so I will get him to price up a GXL and a VX.

Agreed 100%. And hence why I am not sure that he even really floated the idea. He would not have had enough money to bring to the table anyways and it is not like DVG really needed him. I think it was just the impetus / excuse he needed to leave after such a long time. DVG only bought prossers a couple of years ago.

Ok. So story is any VX will be a factory order. I.e 3-4 months hence minimal discount.... However, there is a special edition coming (September to November production) called an altitude. Basically a VX in a sahara only colour (crystal pearl) with sahara alloys but no kdss.

There are some unsold sahuaros on the water if you want to stretch.

GXL production has been lowered to cater for new limited edition altitude.

Will get pricing for altitude and sahara.
