Default GU patrol build

Hey lads while I'm waiting for my new job to start up I've been finishing a build for a mates GU patrol .
The motor is a built td42 for high boost previously supercharged, water to air intercooler, with methanol injection running 22 psi.

Pic of the old set up .
Mate wasn't happy with the top end of the supercharger so I suggested going back to a turbo and look at a decent manifold and getting the diesel pump upgraded to suit high boost turbo.

So in the last week I've moved the second battery to the rear behind his slide out drawers . Removed the engine . fitted new clutch and flywheel. Fitted the diesel pump ,Removed the manual fan. Modified twin au thermo fans and shroud to fit his alloy radiator.Removed the methanol injection. I suggested we have the new turbo ceramic coated as well as his exhaust manifold and dump pipe.

The turbo and manifold got picked up last Monday and then Tuesday the new Plasmaman billet intake manifold and water to air intercooler arrived. So this is how the car looks at the moment with engine back in and having fitted some of the goodies.

Hoping to have the piping finished tomorrow and intercooler radiator plumbed up . Then its off to the dyno to have the pump tuned . will post some more pics up when done.
Got to say the Plasmaman gear is a work of art .

Finished all the plumbing today and re-fitment of radiator . Just have to wire in the thermo fan controller . Engine runs sweet but needs to be run in for about 1000km before the dyno to hard face the bearings . So only 16 psi for now aiming for 31-33 psi when tuned .
Previous numbers with supercharger were 189kw and 850nm at the wheels on 22 psi running 35 inch tyres with diff ratio change. Has
billet axles and up graded diff gears. So with the new pump and other goodies should see 240+kw and over 1000nm ATW . Not bad for a push rod 6cyl diesel. Will post dyno sheet up in a couple of weeks when tuned.

heres some more pics.

first dyno in Melbourne at The 4wd Shop they do the bullet supercharger conversions this GU was their first patrol done as a prototype with internal manifold water to air cooler and Yella Terra supercharger . The production kit they do now uses a Bullet supercharger and it sits above the exhaust manifold.

Still running in since this build hopefully dynoed in 2 weeks will post up results then . Pump was modded at united diesel this time last time it was done by a comp team in Melbourne they did an ordinary job . So this time brand new pump and United have done it. Turbo is a hybrid TD06 high flowed with internal gate 3bolt truck exhaust housing.
