---
Get a quote from All Star mate and see if the numbers match up...if they're close then its about right...if not, I woukld be asking questions!
maybe give tim slako a call at west racing in ozzy park and ask him, he is the uni-chip man in WA and will def be able to answer your questions
no probs thanks fellas.
I know when sean pulled the unichip from my car it wasn't a big job. It was wire in as we'll.
+1 timslako he is the one to see for unichip.
retune?
with bolt on mods to a stock motor they are ok, alot of people bag the fuck out of them because they are an interceptor computer and trick the ecu to run more fuel to suit the mods you have
if my engine ecu was an 01 or later i would get a verso tune (i have a 99 model) sure if i had a built forged motor running 2 bar i would be looking towards an autronic or power fc full ecu so it really depends what you want out of your car/what motor you have |
do us a favour, when you speak to tim can you please ask him how much for a retune as i'm gonna need to get one after i install my equal length headers :D cheers mate
i' not too sure about the codes on the ecu, howeever if you have a unichip type 'a' it would suggest an early ecu, if its a type 'd-15' it would be the later ecu
also, if you have the coilpack on top of your manifold it would suggest an early ecu |
