MY99/00 is indeed Version 5

Z32 AFM is more robust, but in saying that if you overoil your air filter, you can equally kill it

Qu3xy 28-08-2008 08:36 PM

Z32's dont fit on earlier GC8's do they?

You need the Z32 wiring plug and some simple rewiring/soldering and you're done

Strubaru 28-08-2008 10:18 PM

i also thought the z32 afms had better resolution for tuning,

can't you just run it with a MAP sensor and ditch the afm with the power fc?

Jim621 28-08-2008 10:46 PM

nope...thats the beauty of a link :)
no AFM.

Just adding that I've made a small RICE purchase through perfectrun.com.au by way of bank transfer just to put my mind at ease on how they go regarding service, reliability and the rest of it. Ordered a Cusco cooling plate, Tomei gear knob and an Apexi radiator cap.

If everything arrives all good I'll chase up a PFC so anyone thaty wants to do a group buy, express your interest by sending me a PM.

Strubaru 29-08-2008 09:20 AM

i'd personally shy away from the apexi rad cap if it holds more pressure than the stock subi one, unless of course you have a built engine with sti head gaskets etc, could end up costing you
