Any open source tuners out there?
looking for someone that is familiar with an open source tuning program (Romraider) to do a small job for me on an 06 STI. Will happily pay cash or beer. Pm for details thanks.

What small job did you want done? |
Have a nuisance error code that I want deleted.
|
Has the car been tuned? I had an error from a deleted cat in an uppipe on my old car and the tuner just deleted it.
|
No, unfortunately i don't have a tune on it.

Might want to add that to your for sale thread.

It really depends what your CEL is.
Like Russ has mentioned above, he had his Cat Efficiency CEL removed which would not cause any problems with the engine operation. But for instance, if it is an O2, AFR, Boost solenoid or MAF error, removing it will only remove the check engine light but will not remove the underlining problems present. |

Add what to my for sale thread??? |
Thanks Mao, but as I said its a nuisance code. I'm hardly going to delete an O2 or AFM error code instead of replacing them.
