Default just picked up my sony 30 gig HDD Video camera

Jus picked it up today 30 gig HDD Vid Camera great little unit
cant wait to get it home and play with it.

any one else have one and used it any tips
how good is the editing software

how long is 30 gig supposed to last in HD?

not sure the unit says 7 hours normal and 20 hours long play

Woo hoo... I have one of these... High Definition. It is FANTASTIC.
The editing software is non-existent, so I got Vegas Movie Studio coz
there is a plugin to edit the HD video.

I have built a mount on the dash for it so cruise videos will be great.

7hrs in HD


Has great anit-shake so picture is very crisp.

I hope you have heaps of free disk space...

yeah i got plenty spare hdds in the computer so i can mess around all i like haha.

iv got the image mixer for sony but havnt worked out how to use it yet haha.

Only problem with the Sony HDD cams is the G sensor which 'protects' the unit causes it to cut out when used for spirited incar footage.

MiniDV HD FTW!
