Default Macro photography gallery

Thought I'd start a macro gallery since my 60mm f2.8 macro arrived today

I knew prime lenses were sharp but this lens will cut you! Works nice as a low light/indoor portrait lens too.

Anyhow, have only taken like 10 shots with this lens and have to go out again but here is one of a little 6cm long lizard. The DOF is nuts, I shot this at f10 or so!

more to come.

I'm not a photographer nor do I take much interest in it, but a few years ago when I got my point and shoot Ricoh Caplio G3, I read a review on it and apparently it had one of the best macro zooms on the market (for a basic digital camera).

This is a close up picture of a little mains powered rock garden that was on the desk at work, the day I got the camera

It was only small, I had to get as close as 9cm. Even though I knew it couldnt reach the lens I freaked out everytime it made a run for it. My wife thought it was well funny.
