Moonlight Photography
Just checked the Moon phase calendar and noticed that the full moon is on the 1st June. Now from what i know the best time to do moonlight photography is 2 days prior and after the full moon as well as the full moon itself.
What I'm after is a few ideas...what shots to take, where to take them??? I'm thinking moonlight reflection on the river/ocean, also what are the best settings?? i've got canon 400d with the 17-85mm f4-5.6 IS USM lens + 50mm f1.8 USM II lens. All the gurus, please help |

Well if the moon will be your only light then you will need a good tripod.
Weird thing about the moon is even if it looks massive in the sky it always comes out small in your landscape shots becuase of the wide angle. Good luck with it. |

If your gonna take photos of just the moon like that you can take them handheld remember the moon is lit by the sun, I have taken some with my 100-400mm L but there not on this computer I tried looking for them on a photography forum I posted on but had no luck
