hey people Other than the 2.8 would u see any benifits of going from a
Lseries 70-200 F4 to a Sigma 70-200 F2.8 EX DG MACRO HSM

downside going from l series glass to sigma glass
upside going from f4 to f2.8

shame it doesnt have any IS feature but yeah

Thanks

I dont recon the cost wouldn't be worth the difference. Now if you could get enough cash for the 100-400 then that would be a different story!

Like you said the glass difference is probably going to cancel out any benefit you will get with the larger aperture.

What does EX DG and HSM (same as USM?) mean for Sigma lenses?

Personally I think the only upgrade to the L series would be the IS version of the L's. Just sell yours on ebay or something.
