I work at PlazaCameras in the city if ya want one you can come see us ill sort ya out a good price and Sandisk is the best brand to go for alot more reliable then most i have come across through the few years of working here.

Mate what I did was as it ended up being cheaper is bought 3 1 gig cards and then bought one of these.

40 gig of storage for 800 bucks is prety good and the screen is awesome.

Matt,

Sandisk is definately the best performer. Sandisk have the best memory controller. This site has testing results for all CF media for lots of dSLRs:

For you with a [350D?] 9-10MB/s is as fast as the camera can write so anything faster than ultra II is a waste.

Don't have an iPod, i made the right choice a while back and decided i wouldn't use it often so got a cheapy mp3 player...

I'd rather have multiple cards than one big source anyway.. eggs.. basket..

Ah but you see the real risk management plan would be lotsa 1 or 2 gig cards and using an ipod or something else to backup the entire lot as well... We all know CF cards are quite fragile...
