I just attended a 4 day/night course from Terry Gibbs Camera House in Cannington..

first night is learning the options of your camera and getting familar with it, 2nd is a morning course in Hyde Park, 3rd night is shooting the City Skyline at South Perth and the final night is learning to edit your pics and do touch ups also how to use Photoshop a little..

welllll worth it.. the guy who operates it has won WA top photographer 5 times or something. Has also done a photoshoot with Perth WRX too

I dont know the costs as my course was given to me as a present.. but well worth attending.. Learnt soo much and its very very hands on with your camera plus the course doesnt take up much of your time. 2 hours each time you meet up and its full on for those 2 hours too

give them a call if your interested

Isnt it GERRY GIBBS?

anyways, sounds like a good course, I rang them the other week about it, and I was told no spots were available until around august.

Hey All

Im booked in for a course at Joondalup Tafe "Advance Digital SLR" which cost $156 for 2.5 hours every week for six weeks....starts 30th July

the fact that it will take me 2 hours to get there from home is another issue but hopefully worth it!!

I just hope canon give me my camera back by then.

Cheers

Chris

Just an update - I went to the course last night and in was awsome.

The first 1hour was a bit boring cause it was just talking about the camera basics it auto settings.

But then we when in to how your camera's app.,shutter speed and depth changes a picture.

learnt heaps well worth it
