Creating Droplets in PhotoShop (Automated actions)
Ok... So for those of you interested in running the same sequence of actions on a large group of photo's, here is a run down on how to do it in PhotoShop.
- First open the "Actions" tab. - Create and name a new Action. - Hit the record button. - Run all the actions you want to be automated(such as "auto contrast/colour/levels" etc, creating a frame around the photo, adding a watermark etc). - finish off by saving the image and closing the original. - Hit the stop button. From here, you can click play with any image open and it will run the automated actions on the open image. Otherwise, you can go to File > Automate and select "Batch" which will allow you to select a folder of images to run the automated action on. Or, you can select "create droplet" which will create an external file which you can drag and drop image files onto individually, or as a group.
